Today the burgeoning homo sapiens are devouring the flora and fauna of the idyllically beautiful natural endowments of Arunachal Pradesh. This has upset me. The Gibbons are becoming rare due to ever reducing forest cover. There is urgent need to monitor and control the forest depletion to safeguard precious animal life. There should be an end to reckless shift cultivation.
